Management of the Össur Americas Neuro Orthotic sales function to ensure strong customer relationships that result in profitable sales and sales growth of existing and new products. Responsible for effective recruiting, training and managing of a team of professional sales people.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure regions attain or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual regional and national sales objectives.
- Responsible for recruiting, training and mentoring Regional Sales Manager and their teams to effectively represent Ossur prosthetic products and services to targeted customers.
- Develops and implements a sales program plan, account management policies, sales quota and territories, compensation and incentive programs, performance evaluations, etc.
- Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
- Maintains a professional image and demeanor consistent with Ossur policy.
- Encourages job performance improvement of the regional team members by providing professional leadership and coaching.
- Utilizes the Neuro Orthotic educational team as a resource to increase the clinical knowledge of our customers and sales people.
- Utilizes the Customer Services department to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintains and uses a professional store of industry knowledge, technical knowledge and competitive knowledge to overcome objections and effectively implement our strategies.
- Maintains, analyzes and uses territory/customer records to effectively and efficiently organize and plan Americas Prosthetics priorities and activities.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to increase sales while maintaining profitability.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of corporate strategic initiatives.
- Informs Senior Management of trends and activities of the O&P industry and its customers
- Exercises good judgment in the use of company funds.
- Timely submission of sales and expense reports.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
In accordance with applicable organizational policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, may perform the following supervisory responsibilities: Interviewing, hiring, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Also responsible for safety training and ensuring compliance with Össur SB-198 Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors/Master Degree.
- Seven or more years of related sales experience for life science/medical device products.
- Proven experience with training and motivating outside sales professionals.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, presentation, interpersonal, and written & oral communications skills.
- Knowledge of the orthotic and prosthetic market and distribution channel development.
- Demonstrated experience in present or past positions in effective task management, decision making and overall management skills.
- Strong computer skills.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum travel time requirement is 65%.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 - $200,00 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
